In 2020, a boat caught his eye: the Andaman 50. This vessel demonstrates all the specifications he was looking for: central engine, shaft line, robustness, speed and remarkable habitability. Gilles Reigner, its designer, had initially imagined it for himself, guided by an ecological vision and the abandonment of all retro technology on board, opting for all-electricity. The plans, meanwhile, were meticulously drawn by Alexandre Fortabat.

Seduced by this innovative initiative, Jean-Louis began a fruitful collaboration with these two craftsmen, which culminated in the acquisition of the very first Andaman 50, thus beginning a promising lineage. The ANDAMAN SAILS brand was born. The project's ecological commitment and ambitions, combined with the expertise of its bearers, quickly convinced the Peretti family to become more involved in this exciting adventure.
